The Lennox Smart Room Sensor is a room temperature balancing sensor for the Lennox S40 Smart Thermostat. It helps you dial in a more perfect environment by providing accurate temperature and humidity readings to the Lennox S40 Smart Thermostat and telling it how to balance temperatures across the rooms where the sensor is placed.
Make the Most of Your Lennox Smart Room Sensor
Install the Lennox Smart Thermostat App which, connected to the Lennox S40 Smart Thermostat, allows you to monitor, control, and balance room temperatures from anywhere. Scan the QR code to download the app and view how-to videos.
Customize your comfort by adjusting your sensor participation settings. During the busiest time of the day when your Lennox Smart Room Sensor is active, you may want to have multiple sensors participating; for example one in the living room and one in the office.
Decide if you prefer the occupancy sensor to be on or off. If you choose to turn it off, the temperatures will consistently be averaged between the main thermostat and the Smart Room Sensors. Go to Menu > Settings > Devices and look for the sensor you want to disable, select sensor and turn “OFF”.
